Declan O’Donovan grew up in the Yukon in northern Canada, where the wide horizons and long winters shape how you hear silence and sound. His upcoming album, Forever, Never at All (2026), is the next chapter in that arc. Written and recorded between the Yukon, British Columbia’s gulf islands, and the southern coast of Ireland, the record digs into questions of time, memory, migration and family. The songs lean into strong melodies and vivid lyricism while exploring new textures— found in an ever-evolving relationship to the piano that sees Declan utilizing alternative recording and performance techniques.
